How it worksFounded in 1974 as an aerospace precision shop, Stello spent its first two decades earning its reputation on flight-critical work — learning a discipline that would define everything to come.
In the mid-1990s, when defense cycles tightened, we entered life science manufacturing. The fit was immediate: the industry wasn't used to our pricing, our deliveries, or our quality. Chromatography hardware — now a flagship within our life science work — followed shortly after.
Today, led by Ken Gallagher — president for more than forty years — we serve all three industries from four buildings on one Long Beach block, with more than thirty associates and the quality system that started it all.
We work alongside leading manufacturers of high-purity chromatography tubing to ensure the hardware Stello machines mates perfectly with the tubing a chromatographer will actually install. The result is a complete flow path, engineered end-to-end, with no surprises at the bench.
